50 Things That You Can Declutter Right Now

No matter where you identify on the spectrum of being organized or not, there are some things that you can declutter from your home that can make a difference immediately. To help, we’re sharing the list of all of the things that we brainstormed one day.

You can easily go through your house and throw away, donate, or recycle these items to make a dent in your clutter.

  2. Old cell phones
  3. Expired coupons or those that you won’t use
  4. Expired medications
  5. Cosmetics that you don’t use
  6. Last summer’s sunscreen
  7. Food storage lids without a dish or vice versa
  8. Mugs, tumblers, etc.
  9. Unmatched socks
  10. Earrings that are missing a mate
  11. Anything that you find that you haven’t used in at least six months
  12. Food that has been in the fridge for more than five days
  13. Stretched out hair elastics
  14. Broken crayons
  15. Any project that has been unfinished for more than a few months
  16. Broken decorations
  17. Excess chargers
  18. Shoe boxes
  19. Stale cereal, etc.
  20. Food that you won’t eat (if it is not expired, donate to food bank or give to a neighbor)
